World Climate Summit 2009 in Denmark


	Wishful thinking for the 2009 climate summit in Copenhagen The UN conference representatives will go to be meeting with the Billon News inspirational visions and actions in the back of their mind or even better with the Billion News votes in their hearts. Hopefully we can inspire the leaders of the world to do the right thing.

Denmark can lead the way with Billion News

It was surely a great day, March 21st 2007, when the UN members agreed on a plan to get together and make a final agreement - a treaty - about controlling the CO2 emissions throughout the world. And then they decided to have the meeting in Denmark - thanks to the work of our Environment Minister Connie Hedegaard and our Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

The treaty will be carried out in December 2009 in Denmark. So before then we really need to take action. We need to:

1. Start discussions about what it is all about.

2. Listen to people we trust and admire and see what they think.

3. We need to find out what we, as consumers, politicians and Companies can do in order to lower the CO2 level we are responsiable for.

4. We need to inspire the governments to make the right decisions in December 2009 at the UN climate summit in Denmark.

5. We need to inspire each other to make a difference and support more people, plants, oceans and animals in our daily lives.

6. And then naturally you need to learn about what Denmark is all about, since it it likely that you have not heard about it for all the right reasons. But we do think that you have heard about a lot of the famous people who where born here and the famous brands and products and the sights and people that make our country.
